Bingo Night

A couple weeks ago, we took a girls night to go for drinks and bingo. I have to say, that I was mighty proud of myself for not calling a false bingo... I have been known to do this from time to time! We had a great time and some of he gals walked away with some cash! Can't wait for next time!

Day with the Sibs

I figured I was long overdue for an update, so here it is! A few weekends ago, while mom and dad were in sunny Mexico... me and the sibs all decided to head to Sioux Falls for some tubing!

We met at iHop for lunch and then made our way to the hills. It was a beautiful day and we had a blast tubing, so that is why there is a lack of pictures! We ended the night at one of Jared's favorite places to eat, HuHot! I have to say that the food was great, but it was a lot of fun to watch them make it! I can't believe how much fun it is getting this group together, everyone gets along so well and it feels like we have been a tight knit family forever! Love you all!

Bridal Extravaganza

Guess What?!?!?! Yesterday, Tiana and I went to Marshall's Bridal Extravaganza to try and get some ideas for the big day! We stuck around for a fashion and I won a FREE wedding dress!!! Now this week we get to go to Blossoms N' Bridal in Montevideo and pick out any dress we want!!! How exciting is that?!

Super exciting for a bride on a budget!!!

Helm Get Together

A few weekends ago we got to spend a great day with the Helm Family. Thought I would post a few pictures from the day as it was filled with many fabulous smiles!


Ruger loves going to the Helm farm, mainly due to the many dogs to play with. This day was a little cold, so Rosie remained indoors while Ruger and Hunter played in the snow.


Tyler loves it when Chris comes to fire guns with him; this is a favorite past time for the Helm family. Guys shoot guns, and I get whooped at farkel, rummy or some other game with the girls!

Riley got a new gun for Christmas, and I have to say that he waited very patiently for them to set everything up so he could shoot!

I still say us girls are the brains of the operation watching all the action from inside the toasty house... Heather (Chris's sister) always seems to school me at whatever we are playing and Becky (Chris's mom) makes us some very yummy treats!

Meet Oscar!

What do you get when you mix a Ken doll, a saucer and gold paint?!

An Oscar of course!!! As part of a recognition program at work, I would like to introduce you to Oscar (Outstanding Superstars Committed to Achieving Results)! He was a quick project last night that is sure to have the office in laughs and asking questions... Mission Accomplished!!!

I want to send a special thanks to Chris for always supporting my zany ideas and whipping out the drill to a short notice project any time I ask! (Even when it starts with my stripping a doll and he gets a little nervous!) He's a real trooper and I'm so lucky to call him mine!

Girls' Day!

Last Saturday, I had the privelge of taking a girls day with my mom and my bridesmaids! We went to South Dakota and looked at all kinds of dresses!


We tried on Wedding dresses, Bridesmaid dresses and even put Tiana in some Prom dresses! By the end of the day we were ordering the bridesmaid dresses! I can't wait until they get in!

Tiana was such a sport, and let us put her in all kinds of Prom dresses; we had a great time with this "puffy" monster! I gave the all the girls the jackets I made for them as an "official" invite, but I will save the back of the jacket as a surprise for the wedding day!
