A Day at the Park

You may know that recently Jackie and DaShawn have moved. So this weekend, I made a trip down to see their new place! It is a wonderful place with so much to do, so we decided to enjoy the beautiful day and head to the park!
The park was "ho-mun-gus" and was full of laughs!
Love you two! So happy for your move and the new adventures it will bring the two of you! Will definately make the little jont down to see you guys frequently! Can't wait for the zoo!

Time with the Boys

Last weekend, Chris had the nephews down to celebrate his birthday with him. So on Sunday, I stole them for a couple hours and we went to the Schwan Family Picnic!
They seemed to have a good time competing against each other on the inflatables.
And playing games for prizes was challenging...
...but it was necessary to win a coveted Puma Backpack!
I made a new friend; isn't she adorable!? I named her Bacon!
The boys being the hunters that they are, preferred the ducks... pretty sure they would have named them Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner!

Caching with Riley

A few weeks back I was able to get out geocaching with my soon-to-be nephew, Riley. It was a hot one out that day, but we braved the scorching rays and "un-conditioned" car to take him out for his first time!
Here he is at his first find of this own! We did extremely well that day, finding 5 of the 7 we set out to locate (this is higher than Chris and I tend to average)! It is interesting watching younger ones look for caches, as they are much more investigative than I am... note to self for future trips, get down low...
What was most fun to watch was Riley sorting through the swag ("treasures" inside a cache). This is a part that Chris and I don't normally take part in, unless it is a travel bug... we just sign the log and leave... but not with youngsters - it is all about the loot! So we spent time looking through each one we found and traded items for swag we had brought with us. Riley's favorite finds of the day were an American flag pin for his motorcycle vest and a shiny fishing lure!
I had a wonderful afternoon with him, and can't wait to do it again! Thanks for the great day Riley!

It was brought to my attention, that a while back I had posted to suspensful post of a flower that I was waiting to watch bloom. Well it did finally bloom, but I totally forgot to share it with you, so here you go!
Gorgeous, brilliantly white lily! Isn't she pretty!?

Friends are Priceless

Friends are priceless, as you can always depend on them to form an assembly line when needed! And...
Bring along the smiley baby for me to play with!
Thank you for all of your help girls; I truly appreciate it! And for always filling my baby time quota when I insist!
