100th Post...

Today I am posting for the 100th time... seems fitting since it was time for payoff!
The lily out front has started blooming and it is a brilliant white! The previous owner sure had a soft spot for these flowers, but I'm glad she did. Maybe next year we will have to plant some more flowers to add a little variety to these beds. Happy Friday, hope everyone has a fantastic holiday weekend!

Suspense...

The courage to imagine the otherwise is our greatest resource, adding color and suspense to all our life.
-Daniel J. Boorstin
I have always loved this quote and thought of it on my latest stroll around the house. I know this will be a lily of some sort, but the suspense of not knowing which kind is thrilling! Will it be orange like the one I found by the garage? Pink and white like the others in the flower beds? Or will it be something spectacular in a shade of its own? Stay tuned...

Father's Day

Last Sunday I was lucky enough to have all of my family and the majority of Chris' family over to our place for supper and a fire. We had a great time chatting and simply being around eachother.

While there were plenty of photos taken, we will save them for a later post... as this one is just for Dad. Love you!

Another stroll around the house...

On my way out the door this morning I noticed some new blooms... so I quickly grabbed my camera for some quick shots. Sorry for the poor lighting and quality... but Enjoy, cause they made me smile! Happy Wednesday!

Blooming...

It is very interesting to move into a house, not knowing what has been planted in the landscaping, then a month later, everything starts to bloom! It's a great surprise to see what comes up in the spots that don't still have the tags... makes for a fun time strolling around the house to see what has happened this week!
